Portraits
When shooting portraits, whether it is in the studio or on location, my aim is to put people at ease and encourage them to enjoy the shoot.
With children, spontaneity is the key, the more fun they have the better the images will be. I feel that being a parent myself helps me to connect with the
children during the shoot.
Whoever the studio shoot is for babies, toddlers, teenagers, couples, families or just you alone the shoot will be enjoyable and tailored to your needs.
Q. What shall we wear for our photo shoot?
A. We get asked this question a lot, it's hard to say really. You need to be yourself, be comfortable. Casual is often best. If there is a few of you, you
could all wear jeans and tops of your own choice. Greys, whites and blacks always look good but so can bold plain colours. Avoid large logos and slogans
on tops as these can date your pictures quickly. Feel free to bring changes of outfits. If you are bringing little ones, bring hats, dressing up outfits, football
kits whatever they are into. For babies bring a few outfits, favourite blanket and a pair of frilly pants to cover the nappy is always good for girls.
Q. What shall I bring with me?
A. Spare outfits, bring as much as you like. We have music but if you want something special, feel free to bring your own. If you have an interest bring it
along, maybe a guitar or the dog. The shoot needs to be about you. Bring the children's toys with them, it is much nicer to have photos with their own
toys in them rather than toys that belong to the studio.
Q. How do we view our photographs?
A. Your photographs will be available to view via an online gallery, we will provide you with a password and then you can sit and view your pictures in
the comfort of your own home (and when the little ones have gone to bed). The online gallery can be viewed by the rest of the family if you wish. When
you have made your choices, you can place an order or pop in to discuss your choices.
